The Dare to Dream Educational Farm Program, Inc.
Therapeutic Horsemanship Program

Therapeutic Horsemanship consists of 10 weekly sessions in group (3-5 riders) or individual formats. Each 10 week session includes one unmounted lesson, eight mounted lessons and a "horse show". Group lessons run approximately two hours total (from the time the rider arrives at the farm, until he or she leaves), and include grooming and farm time. Individual lessons consist of farm time and approximately 30 minutes riding, and may be more appropriate for some riders, particularly as they begin their therapeutic horsemanship activities. The actual length of time any rider spends mounted will be determined on a lesson-by-lesson basis, depending upon his/her physical/emotional ability to remain engaged and enjoying the experience.

A Ten-week Therapeutic Horsemanship session costs $350.

Please discuss any special financial needs with the Director and please let us know if we will be billing a third party payer.
