Therapeutic Horsemanship

Therapeutic Horsemanship consists of 8 weekly sessions in group (3-5 riders) or individual formats. Each 8-week session includes one un-mounted lesson, six mounted lessons and a "horse show."

Group lessons run approximately one hour total (from the time the rider arrives at the farm, until he or she leaves), and include grooming and farm time. Individual lessons consist of farm time and approximately 30 minutes riding, and may be more appropriate for some riders, particularly as they begin their therapeutic horsemanship activities.

A Eight-week Therapeutic Horsemanship session costs $360.

Please discuss any special financial needs with the Director and please let us know if we will be billing a third party payer.

Dare To Dream's Therapeutic Horsemanship Program needs YOU!

We are able to maintain our reasonable rates through the involvement of volunteers who serve as side-walkers, spotters, and helpers in our lessons. Please become involved by volunteering! We will train and schedule you according to your availability.
